Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder, was born on Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of her home town. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's father is from the Jewish family. Ryder considers herself Jewish. The actress is the younger sister of Uria as well as half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder's parents relocated her and her siblings into Mendocino County California when Ryder reached seven. The town didn't even have electricity. Ryder would read extensively due to the lack of television. When she turned 12 years old, Ryder joined the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas The film from 1986 that she was in, was her debut major role. Ryder was just fifteen when she landed the role. Ryder faced bullying during her time in high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actress could make a difference. But it wasn't to come to happen. But she continued to pursue her dream. Beetlejuice, a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first major breakthrough. Ryder continued playing roles that were successful in several movies. In 1993, she was awarded an Academy Award to be awarded for The Age of Innocence.
